I will echo the sentiment that you are likely normal.
Being unsure of who you are is pretty natural. I think you should use that uncertainty to help you discover what it is that does matter to you. Be less concerned about what group you are a part of and more concerned about what it is you stand for. |

Be both! No one really fits into sterotypes like goth and preppy, so find a balance of the two that works for you. Just by asking this it's obvious thay you're well on your way to becoming a true individual. |

What's wrong with being both? By your question I am assuming you are in high school or middle school, but when you get out in to the real world no one cares whether or not you are goth, preppy, grungy, ghetto...etc.... Just be who makes YOU happy. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. |

Start a new trend called Groppie! You can be the Preppie/Goth founder. Wear the preppie clothes with the Goth face. Bright clothes, pale face, Now that's original. LOL! But honestly, it's not about your clothing style. You are searching for who you are. And that's ok, just stay positive and choose the right avenues to learn more about yourself. Don't follow, lead. |
