You know I have always wondered that in real life as well as on here. Christians are supposed to not judge people yet they do and they constantly put people down if they have another belief. I used to be a practacing Pagan/Wiccan and still have many Pagan beliefs and I have never known why maily Christians chose to attack me for my beliefs. I do not worship Satan like many ignorantpeople may think - how can i worship Satan if i don't believe in him? |

But Jesus did say in John 14:6
"Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

People aren't going to believe the 'good news' unless the hear the 'bad news' first. The bad news is that everybody is just naturally going to Hell, unless God saves them somehow. This is stated pretty clearly in Romans. Jesus Himself said that He was the only way to God, that nobody would get to the Father without Him. Why kick against the way that God established and provided to come to Him? I think most Christians just want to make extra sure that they are not being misunderstood.
Imagine being condemned to go to Hell with a capital H at the end of your life, forever and forever. Now, imagine Someone forgiving you so you don't have to suffer being alone with your sinful self forever, but can spend time and eternity with Him. Pretty strong contrast, huh?
All Christians are saying is that people are no longer naturally good, the way they were originally made to be, and that there is nothing they can do by themselves to get back to God. And that's just repeating what God says in the Bible. Don't blame us for taking His warning seriously. We're just trying to help everybody. |

Being in or not being in a particular religion would not make a people wrong or sinful or something that you might want to say. And it's already time for people to develop a global view, where people never ask someone of their religion, race, etc. Today, we live in Information Age, where information held a very important role in people's life, and the Information Age has reached the level of globalization, but some people still are unable to globalizate their views, they are unable to see people that has different view and different background as their equals, that's the root of all racials and inter-religion problems |

I am not a christian, however, i must respectfully disagree with you. I have seen EVERY religion, bash EVERY OTHER religion on this site. Some have been blunt, some subtle. That also goes for political beliefs, and ideologies. However, its nice that you should ask, as it reflects very well on your character and shows that you have a genuine dedication to following the beliefs of your doctrine. |

I'm not religious but I think you'll probably find people of other religions and no religion bash other religions as well. It's one of those subjects that provokes high emotion and sometimes causes normal people to do irrational things, as I'm sure you are able to find in real life as well as the internet.
If you think that there are people who are saying offensive things on this site then report it. |

Christians should be caring and loving. They should encourage those who are not to become christians too but they should not bash anyone or be disrespectful in the process. God is love and so should we be. |

Christians are not the only ones who bash other religions. Maybe those are the only people you have seen doing it, but there are others out there. I am a Christian too. I know what the Bible says, but not everyone does, and those who do know, don't always follow it. |

My answer to you is to keep studying The Word in your Bible and pray. Christians are to go into the world and bring the good news of The Gospel to all the world. They are not to go in an attitude of bullying or forcing them to take on what they will not accept. That is not love. But The Holy Spirit will convict a person's heart and mind when that person hears the message of truth. Also, Christians are to show mercy to unbelievers (understanding the fate of an unsaved person). Many people who need to hear The Gospel will be ignored - maybe by people like you who feel they should be better off with their own belief (to the point of spending eternity separated from GOD in hell. Is that more loving in your opinion? If you are truly a saved Christian then your only answer can be no. Again, return to The Word and be strengthened and remember "the truth works". Trust GOD and do not lean on your own understanding (apart from GOD). By the way, do you love your brothers and sisters in Christ? If not, then start there by learning to. Go in peace. |

I don't know, but it definitely isn't only the Christians. Muslims, Jews, you name it someone is bashing it. I think some people can't stand the thought that someone has a different belief than them, which is silly, sad, but true. The people who bash other religions are not doing so because they are strong believers, but because they are intolerant. |
