I know what it's like to be unhappy. The great thing is, saddness is a choice, not an infliction. You must make the choice to ignore negativity in your life and give everything you have that is positive to other people. Here's what you do:
1.Figure out what it is about you that makes you unhappy (i.e. your attitude, your weight, your accomplishments etc.)
2.Set small goals to slowly change the things about you that can be changed, and to accept the things that can't. Those things that can't be changed about you are there for a reason.
3.Go out and do something for someone else (i.e. help the homeless, the elderly, etc.) You will be surprised at the great feelong of satisfaction that comes from this. Listen to as much positive music that you can.
4.Finally, try to see the good other people have to offer, and thank them for it. Thank yourself for who you are, and thank God (if you believe) for allowing you to be here. Try to see negative situations as something that can help you learn to make decisions.
After this, you will start to become happy again. I promise. |

Happiness can be found by having balance in life. Ballance should be sought among these areas of life, which provide positive contributions: friends, family, work-accomplishment, love-sex, money, health, spirituality.
If you are weak in one area you need to work to strengthen that area, if you are weak in several, you will lack happiness and resilience.
These contributors to your happiness also protect against the negative stressors of life-changing events, such as a death, or job loss. Hard to believe, but even positive major events such as new job or marriage are stressors, and require you to draw strength from the above 7 contributors. |

Make some plans, make some choices and get busy. Go for a walk. Look around on yahoo answers and find other people who've had similar questions and read what advice they got.
If you have a immediate problem, take steps to clear that up, otherwise, just choose to be OK. I have my fingers and toes and eyes and ears. I choose ok, I choose happy. |

Look at what you have to be happy about!!
Try reading the Bible. You seem to feel rather hopeless. In the Bible it tells us to be happy whatever the circumstances (Phillipians 4:11) Plus, with the salvation and joy we are given through Christ, no one should be unhappy!
Try joining a church- it will give you a family and hope like none before. And pray- God will help you see the joy in life! |

try taking a walk, or riding your bike, even just sitting outside and looking around could help relive your bordom, maybe even taking a pencil and paper and sitting out and drawing, that usually helps, i personally like yo just sit and get a tan while watching people walk by, or drive by! |

Are you unhappy at the moment, or is this a long term feeling? If this is a momentary thing then you should watch your favourite comedy, indulge yourself with some delicious food and drink, and pamper yourself! Or go and see a friend that always cheers you up! Or partake in your favourite activity, whether that be tennis or sex or whatever! If it is a long term feeling, then you need to address the problem. Perhaps talking to someone you can trust, or someone impartial. Oh and another thing, PMA (positive mental attitude) is always essential! |
