I was working as an electricians helper...making $9 an hour to start you top out somewhere between $12-$15 but, the licensed electrician I was working with made $50 an hour plus a $45 service charge or a minimum of a $45 service charge if the work was less than an hour. Call a few electricians in your area and ask them their rates it will give you an idea of what people are paying . Good Luck. |

I'm a contractor for fed-gov. Most projects of this type pay buy the David/Bacon wage scale. witch can be $6.95 per hour to $45.00 per hr depending on state and experiance. Union workers also pay decent but also have strict regulations lot of contractors don't like. plus have due's. you can average $12.00 to $20.00 per hour based on my previous exp. |
