Where can i get them exchanged for cash. The banks seem to make a right fuss and asda have a machine but it costs 8p for every pound i've got to exchange. Any ideas.
You should get those little bags that say £20 in 50p or 20p etc, you can get them from the bank, if you put your change in them normally the bank will sort it out for you. I've got 10 bags and counting of coppers myself.

Dude what I do to get rid of my spare change is when I fillup my car Say I have £2.27 worth of crap 1p,2p,5p etc Instead of putting £10 worth of petrol in the car I put £12.27 worth of petrol in the car. What can they do once you have put the petrol in the car the only thing they can do is count it and call you a w+nker when you have drove away. So what.

You may find that your local Asda, Tesco or Sainsbury may have a machine that will change it all. All you have to do is put follow the instructions on the screen once it is finished it will print out a voucher which you take to the customer servicesand they will give you the amount back in notes and £'s amd p's

Take them to your local branch - they have no choice to take them and have their special lil scales so they don't have to count it. Just remember to smile sweetly while they scowl at you and love every minute of their misery!

You have already mentioned the only two possible answers I know!! I always take mine to the machine at Sainsburys - and am sure they dont charge 8p to a pound???

If you have kids open an account for them and filter it through their account. The banks are much more sympathetic towards kids accounts

Your own bank has to accept them as long as you count the money out into the plastic bags they provide. I emptied my jar the other week and it added up to £32 plus change. Which is not bad for small change.
