I suggest looking into some MLM companies.
Netowrking is a fantastic way to generate income. Do your reasearch before people tell you its a scam, there ARE good, WORTHY companies out there that run on leadership and integrity. ITs worth it :) How bad do you want/ need the money is all it comes down too.

SK - I will advise you to do your research before making such rash accusations! I myself am an MLM distributor - and there ARE companies out there (again, if youd of done your reasearch, this would have been obvious) that are legit, easy to do (not get rich quick by anymeans) but teach you alot about business and generating a passive income. Just because one or a few companies have scammed people in the past is irrelevant. I dont work like a dog, as a mattr of fact I dont labour at a thing. EVER. I enjoy working with people, helping people acheiv their dreams and most importantly educating people on the trends going on today. Nothing GREAT was ever acheived easily my friend. Just a note to keep in mind. But there is certainly no "working like a dog" invloved. I guess again, it all comes down to how badly you want something, what youre willing to do for it (with integrity and honesty) and how badly you value others before yourself. I encourage you to read The Magic of Thinking Big and Cashflow Quadrant. Your mind might just change and veer in the direction or marketting in some form or another. Afterall, everything is and WILL be internet based soon enough. Call me crazy, but people called Bll Gates and Micheal Dell Crazy too... :P

SK - As a matter of fact, I dont even spend 10 hours a week at the business we have and we generate approximatley 450$/week and thats weekly, every Friday, less than 3 months in on the product - it truly is a fantastic business with an MLM compensation better than any other and a building structure thats never been seen before - much different than before - where EVERYONE contributes to your business. I dont care to share with you WHAT company we work with but I will tell you its in health and wellness and I really encourage you to look into some different companies. Its a shame youve had a bad experience, but the possibilities are still out there. And FYI I didnt refer to myself as Bill Gates in that we are in any way similar...because Iam quite aware that we are not, I was referring to the critisism he has dealt with on a regular basis. Especially Micheal Dell (Dell Computers). Did you know that his original idea was to sell computers on the internet to people who didnt have computers? Thats right. It was people like YOU who critizised and said it wouldnt and couldnt be done..and look at the guy today. MLM does work my friend its a matter of finding the right company for you. I should also point out that the idea of being a sales man is extremly old school thinking. As I said before - it is nothing as you imagine. So again, its important not to assume. And my appologies for accusing you of not doing your research. I just see this company work for us all the time, and I will not have people telling me otherwise.
