The best medicine to sleep good at night is exercise....take walks through out the day and get physical activity...makes you sleep good and you feel great the next morning..also try a warm bath about thirty minutes before bed...drink some hot tea .... |

I had this problem for years. This is how I solved it -
I NEEDED LESS SLEEP THAN I THOUGHT.
Every person does not need 8 hours of sleep, just like the average heart rate is 72/min. If you actually measure heart rates of people you'll see a range between 60 thru 100 and some even falling outside those limits.
I made these rules and I haven't ever ever slept so well.
1) Wake up at 8am in the morning - NO MATTER WHAT, use fire,water, earth, air - the elements whatever it takes to get up 8am
2) ABSOLUTELY NO SLEEP is allowed until 1am night
3) I MAY (not have to) sleep after 1am.
Within 30 days, you'll actually began to LOVE to Sleep, you will feel a lot better and I bet your performance will increase 2x.
*Don't take drugs - they are habit forming
*Sleep is something that should take care of itself; rather than 'having to sleep'
*You'll need to find out how many hours you need; start by going from lower to higher (meaning start with 6 then 7 then 8) |

try working out during the day eating healthy and relieve your stress so that you wont be up late at might tossong and turnung and thinking , take a hot bath or shower drink some chammomile tea burn some inscense and candles and just realax its a crazy world out there but you dont have to take it home with ya..try it out .see what works for you.. |

I used to have the same problem. There are many of reasons why you may not be able to sleep at night. Like some said, it may better suit you to sleep in the daytime or you may not be getting enough physical activity during the daytime or.. well..there are lots of other reasons. First, you can try doing more physical activity during the day, some chamomile tea about thirty minutes before you get in bed, and try reading a book to put you to sleep( that always works for me). If that doesn't work you can try some yoga, and then if that still doesn't work then you need to talk to you doctor.

This sometimes happens to me. When i can sleep well at night, i usually take something that will make me fall asleep. I usually will heat up some milk and drink that. Then i will go out into the living room and sleep on the couch. Usually when i change beds, i tend to fall asleep faster. |

try staying away from caffeine in the evening, only sleep 8 hours or less, and if that doesnt help try an over the counter sleep aid like Tylenol PM, I saw on the news that the prescription sleep aid AMbien was causing people to sleep drive! |

I have the same problem..., was up til 5:00 this morning..., tossed and turned... I was told if you imagine a white dot and everything else around it is back..., focus on that white dot..., while fosucing..., imagine each part of your body getting tired and heavy..., start with your feet and work yourself up..., so finally you fall asleep..., it works sometimes for me... |

I know what are you talking about, well star for take a hot bath before beth, drink a chamomille tea, if this still not work, go to your doctor, there will recomendend some medication to help you |

Whatever you do dont become dependent on a sleeping aid after a while youll need more and more but heres a cheap simple solution. Roll up a blunt or use a bong and smoke a little weed not alot lay down the best sleep youll come across. |

Try to get up at least 15 mintues early. And go to bed a little early.. Try to put a night mask on to keep the lights off your face.. Take a warm bath or shower 1 hour before bedtime, and use a bath gel or wash to help you sleep. Read the labels at the store on them to find it say, to help easy you to sleep, or something like that.. (help get you to sleep... Try to put a candle on in your room beofre you go to bed, get one that is scented ... The smell help you sleep.. Make sure to blow the candle out BEFORE you go to sleep though, dont want to start a fire here... |
