Hormone therapy is a posibility but I don't believe that there are any excercises that can be done to deepen a voice. |

Dude, forget about it. I too have a high pitch voice and it drove me nuts for years. I loved when a girl would call first thing in the morning. My voice would be deep and sounded coooooooool. I eventually got over it, and so will you. I can not tell you how much tail a high pitched voice has aquired over the years. With any luck you will find out for yourself. Use it to you advantange, speak softly. You will get it. |

I think its a case of pitching your voice, check with a singing teacher. Its all to do with the way the sound is emitted from the sound box. |

No, that's strictly a genetics. HOWEVER, I have a male friend who's voice is naturally higher than mine (although my voice is a little deeper than average...sultry, if you will). Whenever he answered his phone, I could have sworn a woman answered. When I asked him about this, he said it was because he was running to the phone and saying hello before the call went to voicemail. I told him to pause before picking up the phone in order to calm the vocal cords and deliberately speak in a lower voice. Lo and behold, he sounds like a man on the phone. It may seem unnatural to you to speak in a lower voice, but that's because you're used to the sound of your own voice. Try it w/ people you've just met and will only speak to briefly (like a cashier? "Debit. Thank you.") You'll sound more masculine. |

To be honest I don't think you can change your voice once you have passed puberty. It's not the end of the world though, some girls do like it. |

I'll tell you one thing, if you sing, girls LOVE real tenors. If you really want to, I think your only option is steroids, or any drug with testosterone in it. Sorry. My advice is to start singing. I'm being serious too. Tenors rule. Look at Josh Turban. |

well, how old are you? if you're younger than 13/14-ish, don't worry. you'll grow and it'll drop. if you're old...i'm not really sure, but definitely don't take steroids, that shrinks your testes and makes your voice even higher. |
