Plan your paper by first thinking of what you know about these subjects and write them down, then try to see how they are related and try to tie them together, if you can do this then based on the amount of information you have you will be able to decide what is going to be in your first paragraph and so on, then you can sum it all up in your conclusion. |

start with gathering information. Your school should have access to databases that contain journal articles. Try Psyinfo. Look under each topic, then do a search with all 3. gather at lease 3 articles. Make sure the articles are legit. Make a topic sentence from the info you have, then divide the topic sentence into 3 parts. Get an introduction with your topic sentence. Then focus on each of the 3 parts at least 1 to 2 paragraphs each. wrap them all up together in your last paragraph then restate your topic sentence a little differently. good luck. |

In my opinion, if the paper is about all of the above mentioned topics is that you should consider starting off by mentioning that some proffesionals believe that certain styles of music condone sex or violence or both.. The follow is the format i believe you should use.... much in the form of MCLA report
Thesis paragraph relating to all three topics and how many believe music condones the two prior activities. Finish this paragraph with mention of how many others disprove this theory.
Paragraph two should be focused ONLY on the doctors and so forth who claim that music condones or leads youths into the violent or sexually charged cultures.
Paragraphs three and four should each contain their own proofs or statements by above said doctors along w/ real world situations (news reports such as suicides or crimes said to be influenced by music)
Paragraph five should be aimed at ONLY those who try to disprove this theory, in the same manner as paragraph two.
Paragraphs six and seven should follow in the example of three and four, though for this side of the argument.
final paragraph should be your summary...
Add or remove paragraphs or pages depending on desired length and this SHOULD be addequate for just about any teacher. As i have no college education I dont know how well this would work in that setting, though for highschool this paper should.. pardon my language but.. this paper should PWN all others, it ALWAYS worked for me. |

Make a Web and start with all you know of and then parapharse it and make it into your research paper. Thats what i do and i get it done a lot faster and its much more easier. And if i were you i would start with music because their are alot of music out their that talks about sex and violence. You just got to listen to the words and figure out what they mean. |
