I am having trouble with my boss...?
My boss and I clash really bad. She starts lies about me and everything. She is very jealous of me because I do my job really well and people ask me to handle their accounts. We have had meetings about this and it doesn't get any better. What should I do?
Go to her boss and tell her that you do a better job than your boss and then prove it by showing your accounts that you handle, and tell her that you are being harassed because of this.

Give real consideration to getting out of the sales game. It has been my experience that in sales there is constant jealousies and back stabbing. Some folks can handle it. It looks like your like me and really shouldn't put ourselves in that kind of environment.

Confronting her will probably just make it worse. If there is a supervisor above her, I would try to meet with that person. Be prepared for the meeting with specific examples of when, where, what happened, etc. If that does not work, you may have to look for a new job. There was another yahoo question about a nasty woman boss. Women bosses can be worse than male bosses, because they feel like they have to be mean and nasty in order to progress up the ladder of success. It isn't true, but they don't seem to be comfortable with themselves or secure enough to just be "normal" and give you the kudos you deserve if you are indeed good at your job.
