The bank will be able to give you a printout of all the activity on your account. If the checks did not get sent back to you they may even have the checks themselves. There will probably be a fee for providing this service. You will probably have to give them a range of dates for the information you need. |

Many banks these days provide electronic images of checks you've written. Commerce, Chase, Citibank do. Not sure about others but you should check with your bank.
Hope that helps! |

Your rent checks are going to be the same amount every time right? They could probably go by that faster. |

Yes, they can, but it will cost you. You are supposed to keep your records for 7 years just in case something like this happens. No they can't use the name they need the check numbers or like the person before, may have to look by amount. |

Yes, most banks have archived copies of the checks which they can print out for you. They might charge you for it though. |

The bank may be able to help you--if they keep copies of the checks themselves, some do some don't. You'll need the dates the checks were written & the amounts for sure. They don't keep track of who you write the check to, only the check number, amount & date of transaction (the date it was presented to them).
Even if you shred the checks, you should NEVER shred the register--it's got too much information you may need at a later point. The only time I'd ever recommend shredding a register is if the account has been closed for more than 3 years. Good luck! |

Many banks keep copies of all that stuff on computer files and can send you statements and copies of checks for any period of time you desire. (my bank here includes copies of checks with their statements each month) I can access any of this online anytime. If you ask them to do it they may charge for the service though.
They probably won't be able to pull it up by name though because they don't really care who you wrote the check to. A check number and amount would be helpful along with a date it cleared. |

Have you checked the on-line features of your bank? Mine has a jpg of all my cancelled checks that I can view and print.
Otherwise you'll have to go to the bank and pay for the priviledge of having an employee go through your records and pay yet more for them to print your cancelled checks (usually $1/check). |

You should be able to get printouts of your statements if you go to the bank. I'm not sure how far back they can go, though. But they will print them out for you. |

Your monthly statements should have all of that information, less the payee on each check. |
