If you found $50 000, you should turn it in. If it's illegal money (drugs or whatever) then if you start spending it and it's owners find out, you (and the people that you love) are, well, dead.
Even if for some insane reason people were walking around with $50 000 in a legal transaction, then you should still turn it in. If you don't have money and suddenly you have money, people will notice and nobody likes it when they lose $50 000. |

It is a tough question... although I'd be tempted to keep it, I think honestly I would turn it in. Theres no telling where the money came from, and someone, either the owner, or the police could show up any time in your life.

and i will give you reasons why
1. who the hell would be stupid enough to put $50,000 cash in a suit case?
2. if you were stupid enough to have that much cash it would make you even more stupid to loose it
3. someone carrying that much money in cash obviously isn't honest money anyway
so no
50 grand cash isn't something that just becomes lost, and if it does the person who lost it was really stupid to be carrying around that much cash....

It is either stolen money or lost money from someone that can afford it. Most likly the second choice.
