i think you have to show him by example. You can't sway him, just let him go his own way and pray for him everday. |

continue going to church and pray for him, and never fail to ask him every time that you go , if he wants to go . maybe one day he might surprise you and say " yes " . it would have to be like a seed that grows within one self and get the desire to go and to believe . can't force him to go . have patience , compassion , and love him the same as always . maybe to this day he has had nothing to believe in and with your help and prayers , it just might ! god bless you . |

Honey, you dont have to prove to anyone what you believe. You believe in God and you are saved, and it bothers you that your brother doubts you and probably scorns your beliefs. Just stay strong, answer his attacks with kindness and patience, and start reading up on the arguments for your religion. (The case for Christ and The Case for Faith were very helpful for me)
You cant make your brother choose God, but you can show him what God is doing in your life. Try to follow God in everything you do and he will see the difference in you. |

You can't force someone to believe the way you do. Honestly, the best you can do is pray for him, and be an example.

All you can do is try. Just try to convince him to go to church with you on day. Then try to get him to come back a second time. Try until he gets saved. Try reading him verses from the bible. Ask him would he rather spend eternity in Heaven or Hell? Then ask him, if he were to die right now, where would he spend eternity? if he doesn't know or says Hell, then you should try witnessing to him. Tell him that it's his decision, and if he wants to make sure he goes to Heaven, that he needs to A) Admit he's a sinner, B) Believe that Jesus is our Lord and Savior and died on the cross for our sins, and C) Commit his life to Jesus!! he's probably not trying tell you to beleive what he does, so do nothing. enjoy your faith and be glad you have it.
i've never had the faith my sister and brother had and i always wondered what it was like.
don't push him. people shouldn't ever be pushed into their beliefs, because then, they aren't really their beliefs. |

I do not beleive in god either, but thats just my opinion, and as long as no one tries to force me to their beleifs, then I am all for them beeleiving in what they beleive.

VERY SAD. IS YOUR BROTHERS REASON FOR NOT BELIEVING BECAUSE HE DOESNT WANT TO GO TO CHURCH OR IS IT THAT HE TRULY DOENST BELIEVE. MY FAMILY GETS ANGRY WITH ME FOR NOT GOING TO CHURCH BUT I AM AN AVID BELIEVER. I JUST DONT WORSHIP. I FEEL LIKE MY OWN RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD IS PERHAPS STRONGER THAN SOME OF THOSE WHO GO TO CHURCH WEEKLY. I JUST HAPPEN TO WORK LATE NIGHTS ON SATURDAY AND CANT GET UP IN THE MORN. MAYBE YOUR BRO NEEDS TO EXPLORE RELIGION PERHAPS HE COULD BELIEVE IN A RELIGION OTHER THAN YOURS. I THINK THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO IS PRAY FOR HIM AND EXPRESS HOW MUCH GOD CAN HELP US IN OUR LIVES. Leave him alone. I dont believe in God, and when people come up to me shoving Bibles in my face and screaming that I'm damned to hell if I dont convert right away, it just pushes me farther away from converting. Everyone has the right to believe what they want. You cant change anyones mind for them.
