I got an email like this that was a scam. If you win a lottery they will not contact you like that. You can report the site but I can't remember the site I reported mine to but just type in scam lotteries and you will be directed to many sites. Just give them all the info you can. Be carefull of your email.

colorados_lost_rose
If you didn't enter that lottery, tell them nothing!!!

Alan J
never never never

Sarenidi
no. it could be a stalker/raper. think stupid

ge0fab
no, dont. Unless you remember entering a contest, im almost positive its fake. Or they would contact you, by calling you, and in your case, over a million dollars, they would probably come to you in person.

Kelly C
NO NO NO. 99.9% of the time these are FALSE and are just fishing for your personal information (or email address to use to send you more junk). If you did enter a sweepstakes that you think this might be a winning notification to, remember that if you truly did win...they'll call you. If still in doubt, call the Better Business Bureau in your area for help.

I'd be very careful about this one. There are a lot of phishing schemes out there and others that are out to get money from you. Did you enter a lottery? Don't pay a dime to get money in return. Just beware of easy money come-ons.

NO, and if they ask for a couple of hundred dollars for a processing fee, tell them to take it out of your winnings, that will usually expose them as schemer's. No personal information is to be given.

Tell them to deliver the money.
If you have to pay money to get money it is a scam. do not pay anything no matter how good they make it sound. This has scam written all over it.
Give no personal info to them.

wackyhackyoregon
Did you enter the lottery? Probably not. If it seems too good to be true, it probably isn't true.

So don't be stupid.....do NOT give them any info, delete the message.

MaryAnn

Never give out your personal information..They are all scams..If you really won they would notify you by phone or certified letter..

The Indispensable Chris Cameron
No. Delete this e-mail and ignore everything else you get from this person.

zil28ennov
Did u play any lottery and expect an e-mail?? Thought not. DO NOT DO IT!!

Deleted
All unsolicited emails are bad news. Hit delete.

My rule of thumb is, if I don't know the person mailing me I send the crap right to the junk folder where it is deleted.

There are no lotteries that award prizes to people who haven't entered the lottery. All such emails are scams. forward it to your state attorney general.

If you got this sort of thing via snail mail would you respond to that?? I hope the answer is no, and if it is, that goes 10x for email. I don't care if the email you get sends you pictures of starving kids in Zambia asking you to donate 5 cents a day, don't do it.

nickipettis
NO WAY. NO HOW.
