Getting your period means you will now start to really develop. That is why it is referred to as puberty...
Breast Development: 4 Stages
1: Pre-adolescent: only nipple area is elevated
2: Nipple area is elevated and a small mound is present; areola (dark area around nipple) diameter is enlarged.
3: Areola and nipple are elevated to form a second mound above the level of the rest of the breast.
4: Adult mature breast; areola blends into the mound of breast tissue, rounding of the breast occurs.
Your development is really just getting into full swing and will take several years to reach full maturation. |

Even though you had your period, your body is still producing hormones that will keep your body 'growing'.
Studies have showed recently that young women were menstruating earlier because of good nutrition.
Your body will not stop its changes just because you had your period, give it a few more years before you become concerned. |

No, that does not mean you will stop growing. You actually do not stop growing through your teens. Typically once a person is over the age of 18 they start to slow down in their growth. But getting your period doesn't stunt your growth. |

No first you'll grow in height. then once your done growing in height your body will start filling out. Your period is just doing its normal thing every month. That's how it went for me. |
