Suggestion: Take it to a coin dealer who could
appraise it for you and determine its value. |

Go to a coin collector and get it appraised. Or next time you see where there is a coin show in your city or a city near by, take it with you and have it checked out. The bank might even know the value. Might trust the bank better than a dealer since they are out to make money. |

I think that it should be worth at least a couple hundred. Look it up online to try and see. |

Does it say Silver Certificate at the top or Federal Reserve Note? That will change the value significantly if it's a Silver Certificate. Take it to a coin dealer and get an idea there, or stop at your local library and see. |
