I would guess about 10 cents, maybe 25 cents max. I just checked ebay and there is a lot of 50 of them currently going for about $2.34 plus 4.99 shipping.
Bascially it is not worth your trouble to sell. Just hang on to it for your own enjoyment, or give it to a kid who might thinks its really cool!
By the way, I do not see it going up in value -- about 20 years ago I bought a roll of 50 for $5 ... they cost the same now! I would have been better off putting my $5 in the stock market (even starting in October 1987 =) |

Probably a penny!
But hold onto it. Its a cool collectors item. They only made those for a few years back during WW2, as copper was being used for the war effort.
Here is a link to Ebay with people selling similar pennies. You can see what they are going for:

I think a 1943 steel penny is not regard as an antique. It should worth to keep it rather than spend it as one penny. Wait a few years, it may worth more. |

I'd go to your antiques dealer or check ebay. I believe you could get around $10 to a non-collector and might higher for someone interested in that type of coin/genre. |

I doubt if it is worth much, but if it were copper, it would be worth a lot. |

YOUR PENNY IS WORTH JUST THAT 1 PENNY........
DURING WW2,THE US WAS IN SHORT SUPPLY OF CERTAIN METALS,SO IN 1943 ALL OF THE PENNIES WERE STRUCK IN STEEL INSTEAD OF THE REGULAR "COPPER " OF PREVIOUS YEARS.THEY NEEDED THE COPPER FOR BOMBS AND OTHER WAR MATERIALS.
NOW IF YOU FIND A 1943 PENNY THAT IS STRUCK IN COPPER.THEN YOU WILL BE WEALTHY.A FEW (3 OR 4 ) HAVE BEEN FOUND AND FETCH UPWARDS OF $50,000.
GOOD LUCK |
