Stay busy. Keep moving. Treat yourself to a pedicure. Just don't stop moving or your situation will consume you.
Find ONE great friend and you will NEVER be alone. If depression is a factor, I suggest you seek counseling that would fit your personal beliefs. I have suffered from depression my whole life which makes you afraid of being alone and scared all the time. Counseling was the best step I ever took, but you have to implement what you learn into your life. |

You know sometimes we all have this fear...but you just have to remember you are never alone..god is always with you and when you realize that you will overcome this fear...start reading the bible..join a church...it's wonderful having a church family and plenty of activities to do there...pray about it..you'll be OK...god bless |

Come on now Jasmine, you are coming to the most wonderful part of your life. Live it to the full. I am deeply saddened by the death of your three children but you still have one. Call into the Children's Ward of your local hospital, speak to the Ward Sister, and offer your services as a 'visiting grandmother'. Learn about the children whose parents can't visit them regularly and threat them as your own. You will lighten up their lives and they too will reward you likewise. You will find yourself looking forward to your next vist and make many, many friends for life. God bless. |

i understand, and i am only 27. It is depression and loneliness. Find someone to be friends with, either in person or online and talk to them about how you feel. Being a mother for so long and then missing your children is hard, but you can still be a mother by maybe getting a pet or adopting a foster child even. I hope you find peace in your life. |

I myself agree with many of the answers given to you here already. I had even forgotten about the visiting mother at the hospitals. That is a great idea, though not for all. There are many suggestions that can be given. However, the most effective ones will be from those who know your inner most ailments. Usually the three people that will know more about that will be 1) You. 2) Profesionals 3) Loved ones. Not in that order and not always the case. I am non of the one's mentioned in my list. However, I offer the only help I can, my ears. Email me or add me to your buddy list. Maybe we can learn from each other. I'd certainly like to prepare for what comes in my future when children of mine leave. My sn and email is pitufo633. Hope to be in contact. |

You have what they call empty nest syndrome. You can should to your doctor because I bet you're a little depressed to. You should get involved with people your age that are dealing with the same situation. Also go to your church and talk to your pastor. If you don't have a church look in your local paper under "nondenominational". Contact them and discuss how you feel. And I bet they will give you some awesome advice. |

I am just coming out of a 3 yr long depression. It has been very hard and I have a long way to go. I am in therapy, that has helped a lot.
I felt that my life was near over and I hadn't accomplished anything. I had a terible childhood and I was feeling sorry for the little lonely girl I was. I could go on and on..........but I wanted to tell you there are some very good books that I know have changed my life. The book series that means the most to me is by Sylvia Browne. I know you're thinking that she's just that woman on the Montel show. Well, I whole-heartedly reccomend that you read her books! They discuss death, dying, birh, life. It's like I am reading answers that I already knew but didn't realize before.

I sorry about your children. The only advice i can give you is live healthy, enjoy your life with your son, stay out of trouble, and live your life 1 day at a time without stress. If you believe that God is your creator go to church and ask god for guidance . He's the only one that can realy answer your question, Remember he created you.
