The reason that most photography studios are 'overpriced' is because the photographer needs to make a living and pay rent for the storefront that they're renting. Also most people consider them to be overpriced because most people actually believe that they can take a picture that's going to last as long as one prepared by a pro and one whose quality is equal to a pro. Most likely NOT the case.
source - i do photography on the side, but i dont pay rent, i have a mobile studio. |

How do you expect to offer your product at a "discount"? What is it that the other photography studios are wasting money on that you will cut? Otherwise, you've got a business with high overhead (mall retail space) and high personnel costs (photographers don't work for minimum wage). |

Great. And how do we get the money for the first studio? |

One, you may not get any gain. Two, not a lot of families like taking so many photos and stuff like that. Three, you can get the same thing pretty much as Disneyland. Four, that's not an original idea. People have already come up with the same idea and done something about it.
Sorry to burst your bubble but looks like the lightbulb needs to light up once again with another idea. =D |

Too expensive. Will not work. Not too many people will
be interested in it. |

You can already get inexpensive professional photos at walmart, sears, jcpenny, etc. Also, I wouldn't recommend starting a chain to begin with. Make sure you have enough demand to make one store profitable first =) |

Definitely not a question in question form....Good luck. Maybe, in time, you will be able to form what we like to call inteligible thought. I think this is also already done as well. Sorry. |
