I have a lot of spare change at home. Where would I go to get coin rolls?
Would I need to go to a bank or would a store (like Wal-Mart) have coin rolls for sale?
Additional Details
I don't want to get cash for my change; I want to put it in my savings account.

Wal-Mart should have them (ours does). Most well stocked office supply stores will have them (businesses often need them) or smaller office supply stores can order them for you.

They usually come in quite a bundle, so expect to have extras or share them with friends.

PrayerRequestBox
Just ask the bank, they will give you some. I know of a couple banks that will put loose change in a coin counter for free. That really saves time.

Your bank might give you a handfull for free...but Wal Mart or anywhere sells them.

if you dont want to roll them go find a coinstar...it does it for you and gives you cash back!

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AT COINSTAR OR YOUR TIME MAKING ROLLS!!!!!
======================================...

Bank of America and other banks offer this service automatically to business account holders AND TO ANYONE WHO ASKS FOR IT:

They give you a heavy-duty plastic bag (bigger than those plastic grocery bags, and obviously stronger!). Put your coins in it. If you have A LOT of coins, get two or more bags. Take them to the bank and make sure they are labeled appropriately.

Banks have automatic counters, and they will count it for free.

Good luck!

they are free at the bank, you can buy them at walmart or you can go to a coinstar machine and just dump them in, its alot more convinent than rolling

shallo
of course from bank $ store dear

Christina
The bank gives them to you for free I believe. Otherwise you can buy them at the store.

Try the dollar store, they have them there in Canada, don't know about the states.

Dollar store.

The key words in your question are: "a lot of spare change". Some stores, I don't know about Walmart, would have coin rolls. I don't know where you are. Try your grocery store and, of course, banks have plenty. Estimate, if you don't know, how much change you have. Go get 'em, and happy rollin'.

Arty
Wal-Mart or Target usually has the paper coin rolls. Or better yet find a coinstar machine.

Bank, $ store, wal-mart, pretty much anywhere but I think the bank gives them free.

Coin star... you just dump them in and they give you money but they charge a 8.9% fee you can find them at any major food stores like fry's bashas kroger

summer
Okay, you could go and buy yourself some coin rolls, but why don't you take them to a Kroger (if there is one near by) and put all your change into that exchange machine. It sorts it and counts it. It only cost something like .03 on the dollar (maybe more now). But it prints out a reciept and you take it to thier customer service and they give you cash.

Instead of doing that, just take all that coinage to a place where you can dump it all in, and it will give you cash for it. Or if you would rather keep the coins, get you and big container to put your coins in and just keep putting them in there and see how much you can accumulate.
