depends on your lease, if it says you have to give any slugs, woodlice and mites back to the landlord you should do so, otherwise I think you may keep them
seriously though you have the right to complain to the landlord to get him to bring the pestkillers in, if he refuses you can call in the environmental health people to arrange it |

you should get on to your landlord, were they there when you moned in? if so your landlord is responsable for sorting it out. |

Take your agreement to the Citizens Advice Bureau for Legal Advice but contact your local council and ask for an Environmental Health Officer to go to your flat and check it out, maybe it is not fit for habitation! |

I believe that if it is the landlord's fault, you have the right to stop payment until it is sorted. however, this may only be with things that are dangerous, so do not quote me! Try the below link and see someone that knows what you can legally do!!! |

It depends on your lease agreement. I would phone himher about the problem. Ask if and when it will be dealt with. I rented an apartment and about 2 months of being there, termites appeared Above my window. I came home from work ( at night, ready to relax and sleep) and I could not do so, they were all over my furniture and floor and managed somehow to make it into my bedroom (with door shut) and all over my bed. I called maintenance right away and told them that termites were all over the place and that they needed to come clean it up immediately or find me a place to sleep until it is dealt with. Needless to say, 15 - 20 minutes go by and maintenance shows up to deal with it. It was a message system that I left my MSG so yeah, I had a little attitude while leaving my MSG. Anyway, You have the right to have something done about it. Check your states tenant rights via google - (state) tenant rights

Thats disgusting!
Phone the enviromental health and ask them what you can do.
It sounds like its full off damp which is detremental to your health so they should be able to help you. |

If they were there when you moved in then non really, but if they were and the landlord said they would get rid of them thenyou need that on paper before you can do anythin, If they wern't then get on his case and tell him to sort it out. Other than that move out |
