Yes. The best you can do is to forward it with full headers to the ISP if they are using a real ISP like Yahoo, otherwise just delete it. |

I no longer believe in "Santa Clause". Yes it's a scam. If you didn't enter the lottery then you didn't win. |

YES! Why would someone just give you money? Did yu buy a ticket? |
|

Rockstar

Yes. Anytime someone offers you money for nothing without you instigating it, it's a scam, especially if they ask for your bank information so they can "direct deposit". Check out Clarkhoward.com for the latest scams and do a search if you want. |

It's more than likely a scam to gain personal information on you. I recieved a notification from the UK lottery. It was very official in it's appearance and had a Yahoo email address. I had won almost a million dollars, and all I ahd to do was click on the link and complete my registration to have my winnings (heres the key word) BANK WIRED to my checking/savings account. The CIA have jurisdiction over Internet scamming. I reported it to Yahoo, and to the CIA.
I also called the Lottery of London, and they had never heard of the UK Lottery. The best advise is not to open any email like this as they can actually attach a trojan and create a backdoor to your computer. Good Luck... |

Yes, it's a scam. You can't win a lottery you don't buy a ticket for. They want you to click on a site and enter personal information so they can use this imformation to drain any credit cards you have or open up accounts in your name. Whenever you get those e-mails report them as spam. |

Yes, it is a scam. First of all, if you really did win the money, why would they contact you by email and not by phone, mail, or in person? Hmmm... maybe it's because you never played the "Global Lottery". Honey, this is what others call "SPAM". Delete it and move on. Especially, if it's asking you for credit card info or to buy something. |
