That's probably the worst idea ever...
Just set up a Paypal account...which is self-explanitory and THEY will securely take your bank information... The buyer can send the money through there directly to your bank!
PS - don't ship anything until the payment is sent! |

Make them pay you through PayPal. It is more secure and you don't have to reveal any personal information. |

Never send your bank details to anyone. They can send you a check or money order or pay you through Paypal. |

NO NO! Make sure they pay via paypal or send you a postal order. And never send the itme before the person has paid. If they havn't paid within 2 or 3 days send them a friedly message, like "hi, is paypal not sorking for you, would you still like to buy this item". If they don't respond you can open a dispute. Easy! :) |

What you should do is set up a Paypal account and then have them pay you through Paypal. If you don't want to do that then just have them send you a check or money order to your house. |

bank details? Are you doing a bank to bank transfer? You really need to understand how ebay and payments work before starting to sell. I have never done a bank to bank transfer..I have only used Paypal. Can you be more clear what you need? |

I have always used paypal for them to pay. If that is what you have used then all they have to do is pay for it through that and then you can withdraw your funds from that straight into your bank account. The other thing I have accepted is a postal order and cheque. I've never needed to give out my bank details to a buyer yet!! |
