You will need to get a replacement cheque issued by the company. There is no other way to cash it. |

You'll have to return the check to the employer and request another one. |

No idea...but lucky you having so much money that you don't miss not cashing a cheque! |

Your employer should have noticed the check was accounted for, call HR and ask them to reissue you the check, they still owe, they should have a record that they cancelled that cheque. Happy New Year |

Get in touch with your employer and take the check to him.Explain what happened ,apologize and ask him to cut you a new check. He should be happy to,it will probably help his bookeeping out . |

Assuming it is YOUR payroll check you would probably have to turn it in to your accounting/controller or other appropriate department for them to issue you a new one. |

You probably need to go to your employer with the uncashed check and have them reissue you another check and have them void the outdated one. If they won't do that, then you just donated a pay period to them. |

Ask them to re issue the check. |

Notify your payroll department and they will issue you another valid check. It does not matter if you don't work there anymore or not.
It is possible that your payroll department has already voided the check and if they did they should have contacted you and given you another one by now. A lot of time payroll departments do reissue the checks and employees cash the original ones because they have forgotten that they received a replacement.
Good luck. |

Most employers will issue out a new check if you show proof that you have not cashed the old one yet. Just take it into them and give it to em. They should be able to mail you out one in a couple days or have it located at the business establishment. Make sure you make a copy of the paycheck just in case something happens or they claim you never had a check. |

Take it back to your boss and ask to have another check issued. |

you have to take it to your company and ask then to reissue it to you. most checks are good for 60 or 90 days, some are up to 6 months. it will say so on the check. |

Don't try. The account could be closed and it would bounce.
Ask them to reissue the check..You may have to return the expired one first.
You won't be the first to ask for one. |

I think you may be able to take it back to the company and ask them to issue a new check. |

You can't cash an expired check, but you can ask the issuing entity (employer or former employer?) to issue another. If they refuse, take them to small claims court. |

That happens often, what you need to do is talk to the issuer of the check (the person that sign the check normaly) and let them know that you didnt cash the check and see about reissuing it. They may charge a nominal fee but they will define those terms. Cashing that check is impossible so forget about it that route. |

I agree, you will have to take it back to your employer so they can issue you a new check. |

I work as accounting for an inssurance company, to tell you the truth, I have seen this a lot. The only thing you have to do, is take the check and make a note that say; you found this check for this amount that was misplaced. However, u can't cash it due to the expiration date. I'd like to request a new one. Then post it to whoever company it's from. You don't have to look for special offices to send the check, just send it to the company. However, it will be much faster if you put ATTENTION: ACCOUNTING or ATTENTION: FINANCE on the envelope.
good luck
I believe they will be glad to send you a new one. |

You will have to contact the corporate office, and they will have to issue you another check. |

Request that it be reissued. If you deposit it, and the employer's bank won't pay it because it is too old, you could be subjected to bounced check charges from your bank. |

Take the check back to whoever wrote it to you, and when they confirm there was no action taken with the check, they should re-write you a new one. |

The employer who issued the check is the only one who can get you a new one. Call them. |

you can deposit it into your account, they usually pay it. |

You have to ask the employer to issue a new one in it's place. If they won't due to company rules, oh well. You can't miss it because you didn't miss it. |

you don't because you just might end up behind bars |
