I think people should stop answering this question...so people will stop asking it. :P
Of course the chicken came first- to reproduce, you must first exist. |

The chicken came first when God was creating the universe. Maybe on the 7th day when God rested, he had scrambled eggs for breakfast! Who really knows? |

It's obvious isn't it? The chicken came first.
The chicken had to get laid before the egg could be...hahahahaa |

chicken.......if you believe evolution then you'll know each animal evolves into another in a long time.
For god believing ppl, the egg came first. It was warmed by the sun and the chick cracked it.
either way, there's still a debate..................lol will it ever end is a better question..... |

The chicken lays the egg, so the chicken come first! Chick chick! |

There is NO DEFINITE ANSWER but this, I think, is the most logical.
The answer is 'THE EGG CAN NEVER CAME FIRST' because nothing will hatch it.
It is eiher God created:
1) The chicken (hen and rooster)alone
2) or, the chicken with the chick/s
3) or, the chicken with the chick/s and with the egg/s
4) or, the chicken with the egg/s
Recent disovery regarding NT(?) DNA proved that man was traced from a "mitochondion eve" proving that the bible is correct in saying that we came from a single woman.
Adverse result was seen regarding animals'. The findings suggest that they came from different "women".
That's why I believe that God created not only A PAIR of CHICKENS simultaneously during creation but TWO or MORE. |

The egg. Some dinosaurs laid eggs. Chicken did not evolve until much later. |

don't know why these question seems to be repeatedly ask?
Does it matter? the creator created XXX animal at first but slowly that animal evolve to chicken, eventually chicken may evolve to another kind and no need to lay egg. By then, such question will be irrelevant.
I rather ask when can I acquire ulitmate happiness, that will be more practical |

I agree, if you think about it, God made the ANIMALS, not their eggs. Therefore, chicken came first. Plus, if the chicken didn't come first, wouldn't we say everything tastes like egg? |

The chicken...It crawled out of organic soup and then a big dinosaur ate it. Then the dinosaur pooped it out in a hardened gastric juice...which the chicken, after some struggle, cracked out of! The chickens thought it was a good idea, so they have been doing it ever since. |

yeah u are right, the chicken came first before the egg. its just like asking...the man and the baby, which came first??. God made man, and then man gave birth to a baby, so God mad the chicken, and the chicken laid eggs. |
