These are perhaps some of the most prevalent spam messages out there. Next of kin, or the prince of Nigeria promising you millions if you hold his money in an account. They're truly irritating. Unfortunately, there is no tried-and-true method for blocking them.

Gmail probably has the best spam filter of all free email accounts. Perhaps you should consider switching email addresses? It's not as hard as people think and it's a great way to make a clean start. You can continue to use your old address for using online and filling out forms so nearly all spam is diverted.

These email are very annoying indeed
What you must NOT DO is answer them.

They are just what your 'trash' bin is looking for

Delete them before you open them
They are scams

A good rule of thumb in my book is that if you dont recognise the sender dont open the mail

Its useless blocking them. There are so many doing it these days...its a total waste of time

They are to be pittied... they have nothing better to do with their day than intimmidate us...

Feel sorry for them !

Ignore it, but report it to your email provider - defo scam.

You could always email them back with some garbage, but this may not be such a great idea as they will know that the email address is live and might be able to hack into your machine and get sensitive information ie bank details, passwords etc.

Best policy, bin them and ignore them.

magpyre
ignore them, they are scammers, for a little light relief, go and have a look at the website below, they also have a forum, so if you are worried join and tell them all about it!

maybe if you report this harassment to your Internet Service Provider they can do something or you may have to change your email address. You may get better suggestions but it looks like a scam or even worse demanding money with menaces

No Longer Dizzy
Why don't you change your email account?

Oops

Those emails are some of the oldest and most vile scams on the internet. However, these days people bait the scum that send out those scams and have fun with them. Check out 419eater.com or 419baiter.com

spiritwalker
It's a scam, I get get those all the time, the new one is supposedly from from the miltiary now, do your self a favor, delete them all.
I forward mine to the FBI, so hopefully one day they track them down and make their arrest.
Remember if you do NOT send in anything, you DID NOT pay for a lottery, it's 99.9% a scam.
