How can you love someone who said that to you? He doesn't even want to be your friend. What kind of relationship would that be? It certainly wouldn't be very good for you. He would use you for your love.
Your feelings are hard to get over. I've been there. Trust me, they will go away in time. Just keep yourself busy with other friends and activities.
If you can't avoid seeing him, and I strongly suggest you do until you get over your feelings, just be calm and polite. Don't initiate conversation other than "Hi", and if he asks you questions, answer simply. As far as he knows, you are doing just fine without him. That will make him hurt, just a little. Don't throw yourself at him, because that will just make him run. |

yes, you should totally try to talk to him, no don't try --do it-- you should definitely talk to him. hang on him, follow him around, don't let him get a word in edgewise...give him every opportunity in which to stomp all over your heart one more time...PLEASE! definitely make him notice you, but don't say a word. make him wish you were still his by making him think he doesn't mean a thing and has no effect on your life... |

if he didnt want to even be friends there was more goin on that you thought. and i wouldnt try anything. if you do see him and talk to him... i would just let him know that you are doin just fine without him. let him know that you didnt need him... you would be surprised how it might make him feel. |

Find a way to distract yourself from thinking about him while you are at your party and try to have fun. If he sees you are not paying him attention, he might take notice. Relationships are tricky. Just don't give too much of yourself away to someone who doesn't feel the same way. |

If he does not feel the way about you then you need to let go. Its hard if you feel a certain way about someone and they dont feel the same and the only thing you can do is move on. |

i think you need to give him time he is having a hard time with the break up and even though he says he does not want to be friends with you he really does maybe not right now but eventually. let things go at his pace and if he loves you as much as you love him then you will get him back maybe not as your boyfriend at first but at least you will have him as a friend but always remember that even though you may not have him back as a boyfriend at least you have him back. |
