I've been a letter carrier with the Postal Service for the past 18 years and volunteered to answer the letters our office recieved from the children in our town. I know there is alot of "professional" places you can get "Santa" to write to your child but they are usually a common response to every child. Theres nothing like getting a hand written letter addressing your child's actual Christmas wishes. It shows the child that Santa really read their letters. Good luck and an early Merry Christmas! Leave the letters in your mailbox and, hopefully, someone in your local Post Office will take care of it..... |

The mail men get a ton of these you can have your child mail it and the put up the flag on the mail box what i do it take it out before the mailman takes it and hide it to put in their scrap book when they are older. but the mail man will take a letter just make a address up. |

You can go to http://www.emailsanta.com/, and they will send a letter back, you can also get your Naughty or nice rating.I did this for my daughter last year and she loved the response letter, we even framed it for her!
I don't know Santas actual address, but I think that if you address a letter to Santa Claus....North Pole..they will send it, but I dont know if you will get a response. |

Um, I don't have an answer to the question...but I thought that you'd all like to know that most of you are spelling Santa's last name wrong! It's Claus, like without the "e" at the end. A "Clause" is used in grammer. |

Depending on where you live, you can address the letter to :
Santa Claus
The North Pole
The post office has a dead letter box. When they receive letters to Santa they simply put the letter in the box and destroy them later.
You could also send the letter to your local newspaper. Tell your child that Santa can read the letters more easily when they're printed in bulk. (The way the paper prints them) This way you can cut their letter out and save it. |
