The recipient is given a slip to tell them that they have post that hasn't been paid for, they then have the option to pay for it. You could warn the person and promise to reimburse them. |

If you put your return address on the letter, it will be "Returned for Postage" to you. If you did not have a return address on the letter, it will be sent to the recipient as "Postage Due ___". They can either pay or refuse the letter. If they refuse, the letter will go to the Dead Letter Office. |
