If you give these people any information, you are going to have your first experience with identity theft.
That is, if someone does not have it already.
This has been on the news. |

You Can't. UNless you entered a lottery in South Africa you could'nt have won anything. Also, if they are asking for money, it is definately a fraud. Any fees should be taken out of the winnings. Pay it no mind and delete it. |

they tell you that you won a large amount of money and to send them your bank account number and routing number so they can deposit it into your account.

Don't trust them, because they are fake. Did you even enter the lottery in South Africa? If you had, and you had won, would they notify you by email? Usually if you win the lottery you have to claim the prize yourself, they don't contact you. |
|

polarbaby
 |
easy as this....did you send anything in, sign up for it, or anything like the sort for you to even be entered??? probably not so why would you even consider that it is real? it is a scam and you should just delete it and pretend you never got it. |

First ask yourself "Did I enter any competition or buy any lottery tickets?"
If the answer to that is a resounding "NO" then the email is obviously a scam. |
