Why on earth would you think anyone would just hand you $45,000 for absolutely no reason? |

scam. The check is bad. If you try to cash it, when it bounces, you are responsible for re-payment. |

It's a scam. If you won so much money, why can't they just take their "fees" from your winnings? Delete it. |

You are one of only 200 million people who won the same prize. That baby is a 100% scam. I am always surprised that people can get taken by this kind of fraud, but if you are asking the question, I guess it tells you how easy it is to screw gullible people. |

Big scam. You will get into real trouble if you try to cash the check and they will get your bank info and drain your account. Report it to the postal authorities. It is mail fraud. |

One great way to find out IF it is a scam is to contact your Attorney Generals Office in your state. In most states the Attorney General will handle this "scam". Let's get real, that's exactly what a scam looks like, so report it as-soon-as-possible. |

If you won that money from a legit place, why are they asking you for a fee?

Anything through money orders is usually skeptical. Review the materials, find a phone number, and contact the company directly. Read the fine print. Do not send any money to them, if you did win a sum of money you wouldn't have associated fees until AFTER you received the money. Ask them to "Show me the money". And if they don't...you walk away purse unharmed. |
