If it's to good to be true, then it's not. Probably a scam. If they sent you a check when you deposit it, they will take your information and then take all your money in the bank. |

It's a complete scam. Which version did you get--the one where they need you to pay fees and taxes first, or the one where they send you a (counterfeit) check and tell you to send a certain amount elsewhere--only to find that the check they sent you bounces in about 10 days, since international checks take longer to clear. Either way, it's a scam.
If you don't believe me, then maybe you can help me...I am an Nigerian diplomat who needs your help getting 4.6 million to the USA...just kidding. |

I have had several of these types of letters over the years and they are usually scams. It normally involves ringing a premium rate phone line or sending some money to cover administration costs and taxes, my advice would be to bin it. Remember this, if it sounds too good to be true, then it usually is too good to be true. |

Most likely it's a scam. Especially if you have to pay money to get your winnings. Don't send them any personal info especially bank info. Beware of unsolicited mail. |

I to am in this predicament at the moment, mine says it is from Charities Lottery Promotions in London, England but it was sent through an on line surrey group that I subscribe to and am currently trying to verify the legitimacy of this company, the police here have said that they have not heard of this as beeing a scam but wouldn't doubt it. "They" are out there; scam artists should be bilked for all "they" have! |
