I would suggest going to your local library and checking some out there. They have a ton of books... and I am sure that you will be able to find some to keep you occupied. Taking money from your mom is NOT a good idea... so just go to the library instead!

If you can't go to a library, you can go to amazon.com. There are some books that have the option to search inside and you can actually read the whole book there for free. |

Try doing some chores around the house and ask your Mum to pay you for it
...(do something that worth the money you ask...)..
its what i do..and it always works if you tell your folks the reason for paying you...
in your case ...its for buying a book...
so i'm pretty sure that they will agree.. |
