I'm a girl and I did work for UPS. Being a girl made no difference in how I was treated but I did not like working for them. I did not find that they treated their employees well and the pay scale was low compared to their competitors. I quit and went to work for one of their competitors for a much better pay and work conditions |

I've heard that it is an excellent company to work for. I have known people through the years that went to work for them and they are still there many years later with no complaints. Good company, excellent benefits, room for growth--what else do you want. |

I work in inventory at a retail store, and a woman drives the UPS truck to our store . She told me that packages aren't supposed to be over 70 lbs, and you'll have someone to help at most stores anyways. |

It's not a bad idea, but you have to be able to lift 70 lbs, not often, I have to lift something that heavy maybe once a week, but it is a job requirement, other then that, it's not that bad of a place to work, union and helps pay for school too. Take home pay sucks though, because most plants are part time only. |

It's a great company to work for if you like to drive and work independently. If you are well built and strong you'd make it through the testing. You have to be able to lift 50 lbs! Good luck! |
