Think Big, achieve big things....screw the yard work, open a lemonade stand!!!!
Actually, when I was in 6th grade into junior high, I would go to the local store and buy bags of candy, blow pops, and packs of bubilicous gum usually, and I could turn around and sell it in school for three to four times the cost....take a small loan from someone, possibly parent or gaurdian to get started.
Open a pack of bubilious in class, and sell it to the people you aren't necessarily friends with, as soon as you open a pack, the people around you will be like, can I have a piece, and tell them look its my last pack, give me 50cents for a piece, this will net you $3 to $4 for a pack you paid a buck for. However, you often start eating your own proffits or giving it away to girls....but still, sell to those people you don't really know or like....packs of tic tacs sold well too....go to the local dollar store and get your inventory!!!
Selling candy to 6th graders is almost like legalized drug dealing, many of your classmates probably are restricted from candy at home, you will become everyones friend and they will know where they can go to get there "fix", and you will have a 300% return on your investment.
If this doesn't work, see if you are old enough to get a papar route...i did that also.
or you could always start a stupid website up,,,there is no age limit on that...check out a friend of mines www.BobbingHeadDogs.com |

You could do odd jobs for neighbors such as mow lawns, help with outdoor window washing, racking lawns, offer to do any kind of labor that may help you earn extra money-tell them (the neighbors) that you're working to earn something that you would like to buy-give your name and phone number so they will have it in case they find a project that you can do. |

When I was in sixth grade I did things around the neighborhood. You can babysit (or be a babysitting helper), you can do yardwork like shoveling, raking and watering plants. I walked an elderly person's dog everyday after school for $5 a day. Or maybe you can pick up some extra chores around the house and see if you parents will pay for for it.
Maybe make a funny flyer (that says you are willing to do extra chores around the neighborhood for some extra money) and hand them out to your neighbors. |

Here's a brainstormed list of ideas:
- If your a good poker player, invite some friends over and have a prize or cash game.
- Offer to do more chores for your parents and beg a bigger allowance
- Sell some of your junk you never use anymore on Ebay
- If your Dad, brother, friends, etc knows nothing about sports, make extreemly lopsided bets on games with him. Example: Pistons Vs. Hawks
- You actually could get an unofficial job. Yard work is a good one.
Good luck |

Ask your parents if you can do something for them for a price. Maybe they know other people that needs something and are willing to pay for it. Jobs like cleaning the front yard, cleaning up, help with moving stuff, things that are simple enough for you to do. |
