Well, the dinosaurs didn't live billions of years ago. They were around from 250 to 65 million years ago. I'm sure creationists have some completely logical and scientific explanation for this. Like "God did it" or "Satan did it". |

tell me. when did anyone say that god created the world in six of OUR days and rested for one? Why doesn't anyone realize that one of god's days is many many millenia on our time. So, although he did create the world, it was long enough ago that the dinosaurs were created. He just evolved us after smashing them stupid things with a big rock. |

Day 1, God created the heaven and earth...
If earth hasn't been created how can there be a DAY?
Obviously the days in the story is not OUR days, it is GOD's day. And do you know how long God's days are? Probably not.
So when God created all the animals and then the next "day" created men, that one "day" could last millions of earth years.
So, unless you are not bright enough to figure out that the days in Genesis are not in earth days, there should really be no contradiction. |

Seems a bit contradictory doesnt it. You know they used to think of a flat earth also. Someday they might talk about how ridiculous it was that so many people believed that if your a good person that you will get an eternity of heaven. We'll all catch up someday man, till then just think for yourself.

All I know is this... until they come up with something better and more accurate than carbon dating, I'll believe what the scientists are saying now. I have no experience in this area, no skill of my own to be able to prove otherwise. Not that I'm a blanket-believing individual that can't think for herself, but the palentoligists say that dinosaurs lived so many millenia ago... ok, who I am to contradict that. And also, as far as that goes, in 2000 years since the supposed time of Christ, not a single relic, artifact, or other item has been found that could give 100%, indisputable proof of his existence. But in the few hundred years that Man has had the ability and understanding to know what he'd found, there have been countless finds of dinosaur bones and fossils, and these have been encrusted in the earth for millions and millions of years. Can it really be possible for something to have happened as relatively recently as the life of Christ and not have a single way of proving it, and yet such creatures as the dinosaurs that have been gone for eons can so easily be traced and reconstructed from bones that have been found worldwide? Who do you want to believe, the Creationists or the Evolutionists? That's the real question here... |

Depends on where you are getting your reference from. If you believe in the Bible, there shouldn't be any way the dinosaurs lived billions of years ago. Or that those crazy scientists are lying and got the dates mixed up... Just remember though, the Bible was written by men. And has been edited throughout the ages.
If you don't believe in God, then the answer is simple.
