Some one will no doubt tell you some sh*t like: "That's his plan," or "The lord works in mysterious ways."
The latter being like a record that they will not shut off.
If are religious and think about god logically, you will soon find you have made a mistake. |

Its a fair question, religious or not as you have the right as a thinking human being to wonder why. I too have been asking this question for over 20 years the religious sector wont explain just become hostile about the question, and the end result is usually the same--- in essence it is what it is, and that's how it is.
But im trained it the scientific field over analitical I guess |

One reason why God allows horrific things to happen is to let man see for themselves the evilness of their ways, and He gives them a chance to repent from their evil ways. |

Most people believe that God has given man quite a bit of freedom. Letting people die is usually the result of people's greed and need for power rather than an act of God. |

What if the seemingly innocent child in this life had been a murderer in a former life, but instead of being punished for crimes in their former life, they are being punished now?
It's not an entirely satisfying explanation - but since God has not shared the master plan with me, all I can conclude is that what I happen to observe is not the entire picture. |

You start with an "if," but don't follow up. It could be that the two things aren't related, or it could be evidence that there's no God. Either way, it's a question that, as stated, is really impossible to answer. Not enough info. |

God gave u freedom,

God has many plans for man. Even the deaths of the innocent are in His plan. |

god exisits in the mind of the believer. The question should be is God an illusion created in our mind, whom we can blame for our misfortune, wrong doing or any other actions that are not considered compassionate, of genuine love and equaniminity for all that is living.
Why is that we can not look inside ourself and take responsibility for actions and their effects.
Why do innocent people die, either by the hand of others, sickness or by sickness? FATE! Stop blaming others (including god) for your own or others misfortune. Every action we take, every thought we have has an effect on ourselves and the world around us. It is not Gods fault, or your neigbours...its ours...its yours. |

if you are a religious person you should not be questioning your religion. and if you aren't, i guess you dont need to worry about it. (harsh, but true, you'll thank me for this one day) |

He doesn't exist. The only proof he does is people wanting to believe he does. Which is no proof at all.
We don't need him - humans are nature have good and evil, but humans have judgement which is more powerful than any god. |
