No take that number and double it, due to the recent decline in our economy our dollar is only worth 0.49 of a pound.
So it would take 2.02 USD to equal 1 GBP.
To find out the price of something in dollars use the site below it's what i use to convert when i want to buy something overseas. |

No..depending which country you are from the exchange rate varies greatly...
at the moment US dollars are just under 2$ to the £
Australian dollar are 2.09$ to the £
it varies country to country depending on the strength of the countries currency.. |

NO. CURRENTLY THE EXCHANGE RATE IS ABOUT 1 POUND FOR EVERY TWO DOLLARS. I'M GOING TO LONDON THIS MONTH TO TAKE 3000 POUNDS OUT OF AN ACCOUNT AND THE CONVERSION TO DOLLARS WILL MAKE IT ABOUT 6000 DOLLARS
THE RECESSION IS DROPPING THE VALUE OF THE DOLLAR. |

No. Because there's $2 to every pound, in effect it'll be half price.
Bear in mind, though, that their pricing is very similar to ours, just in dollars. A pair of jeans that would cost £25 over here would cost $25 over there, which is about £12.50. Shop 'til you drop, baby! |

At that moment, it will be the same amount of money, but the number will be different.
Edit: Sad that so many are so frightfully ignorant of simple economic concepts... Money and currency are not the same thing, people. If you exchange currency, you haven't changed anything but the figure. The rates fluctuate over time, but at the moment of the exchange you haven't lost or gained anything. |
