what would you do with the wallet if you found 80 dollars which isnt much, but had driver licence and credit card inside and you knew what address you can go to. would you return the wallet to the police station or would you just keep the money drop the wallet and take off like you won a lottery. For reals be honest i know some people say il return everything but i doubt that money plus people equals greed |

take it all to the owner. make sure it gets into hisher hands. and be grateful with any outcome. be happy that you are at least honest and ethical enough to give something that belongs to something, and hope that if I ever had the same situation happen to me, that somehow someone as honest would do the same. If I need money I work for it. It helps me be the citizen I want to be and teaches me that good effort reaps its own rewards. |

I would call the credit card companies number on the back DO NOT TYPE IN THEIR CC INFO just hit numbers until you get a rep and tell them you found this wallet and see if they would call the owner. Or try to find the number in the phone book by the address.
In the end if nothing produced results I would take it to the Police Station |

I'd return it. That $80 might not seem like a lot of money to lose, but you never know what it means to the person that lost it. It might be all they had until their next paycheck. Do the right thing, and return it all. Who knows, the person might be so greatful they'll give you the $80 for a reward in which case you get the $$ and the satisfaction of doing the right thing. Even if they don't give you any reward, the feeling you get from doing the right thing is worth more than $80 anyway. |

If it had ID in it, I would return it. The odds that the person will be thankful and give you a reward are pretty good. If not, then you can be content in knowing you did the right thing.
If it was just a wallet with nothing much in it, or just cash laying on the ground, I would keep it. |

I would return to the owner. Just tell him/her that you found wallet somewhere and honor to give his/her wallet back. It is the right thing to do and it will make you feel good. One time I found a wallet at Toys R Us that someone left her wallet in the shopping cart. I give it to the customer service desk to make sure they can return to her if she stopped by. When I was at the check out and the lady came to me to tell me, Thank you so much and give me money for rewards but I don't need it. She begged me to take it so I take it. I guess it make her feel better when they returned her wallet. Best thing to return the wallet to the owner. Good Luck! |

I would honestly, try to find a phone number to call them and tell them I have it, and let them come pick it up. They would be very happy and grateful. Otherwise, I would mail it to their address on the driver's license. It always pays to be honest, no matter what! You will feel good, if you do the right thing! |

It would be really nice of you to hand deliver the wallet to the rightful owner. The proper thing for the owner to do would be to give you the money in the wallet. Keep in mind how bad you would feel if you lost your wallet.

I would make an attempt to return it, if I couldnt return it, I would turn it in to the police dept. Honestly, 80 dollars doesnt seem like much, but to some people it is alot. Actually something simular happened to me in August where someone who supposedly was a "christian" found the wallet but just left it there for someone else to take and use all of my bank cards. I was left thinking that was some "christian" and felt they didnt choose the right. |
