I guess I'd say smell just because with the other ones you could live pretty normal. Without your sight it would be really hard to get used to it and live, without your hearing you would have to use sign language and that would be a pain because you have to talk a lot, usually.I still think tasting and touching would also be better because you have to eat,but I mean smelling also has an effect on your taste. Also touching I qould want more becuase you wouldn't feel pain or know when too much hurt is too much. |

Smell, cause that is the one I figured would be the easiest to give up |

I would give up taste in a heartbeat!
Because I would really miss seeing my children grow and their smiling faces, feeling my husbands kisses and hugs, hearing laughter and music, and smelling flowers and a home cooked meal... even if I couldn't taste it --the smells would be worth chowing down and imagining what it would taste like!! |

I would give up my sense of humor, because nobody thinks I am funny. |

Hearing in a heartbeat. If I could find a doctor to take out my eardrums, I'd do it. I'm so tired of boomers with subwoofers and NASCAR wannabes with modified mufflers roaring around town. Every town in the U.S. There is no peace anymore. We live in the culture of rude. No one is as impressed as these jerks think they are. So you can push a gas pedal and make noise...woohoo. Or crank up your bass...yeah, you're bad. No, you're an idiot. |

The problem with that question is that taste and smell are almost inextricably linked, if you give up your sense of smell, your sense of taste is reduced to salty, sweet, sour and bitter, without the rich variety in between that your olfactory (smell) nerve provides. That being said, having smoked cigarettes for several years, I've pretty much gone without my sense of taste anyway, so I'd go with that. |

Well, without sight I wouldn't be able to see my beautiful kids faces and my husbands smile, without hearing I would miss the sound of laughter and music, without touch I would feel lonely and without smell I wouldn't be able to smell the good food that I wouldn't be able to taste because you have to have a sense of smell to be able to taste so I would just opt out on taste. If I can't taste it I would like to atleast be able to smell my food. |

Can I give them all up at the same time? No? I choose taste. My ex-girlfriend always said "You have no taste". And now she need not worry about that anymore . . . ha! |
