It isn't worth the wear and tear on my back. I'm sure there is someone else in the world who would like that penny more than me and could believe that they will have good luck the rest of the day. I'm adding to the feeling of "Good Luckiness" by leaving it there. |

I can't afford to waste a few pennies! Then again, I rarely drop money, but I pick it up if I do. As long as it wasn't on a busy road or anything like that. |

I would ALWAYS pick it up! Nevermind what anyone else thinks! If you have a throwaway penny, pretty soon it'll b e a 5p then 10p then 50p then £1 !! And then where will you be? Always keep coppers! Put them in a can if you don't want them in your car or in your pocket. To a starving child and a good charity, a small sum may well save a life far far away... |

I would not pick it up because you don't know who is looking and that could the only thing the person has to buy food or pay their fare. But on the other hand you could stop and pick it up and give it to the person. |

I usually pick it up, it depends on if it rolls under the counter or not. Sometimes when I buy something, I sometimes have just the exact amount in my wallet, so if I had had the penny, I would be exact, but if I did'nt stop to pick it up I would be short 1p. Im a perfectionist. |

Pick it up. A penny might not seem a lot but it would be if you needed something that cost £1.00 and you only had 99p, and after all...pennies make pounds. |

Depends on where I am, who's around, what I'm wearing and if I'm in a hurry.
I started to say most of the time I'll pick it up. It's the sensible thing to do but really, no most times I don't. |
