Pay it off a bit at a time...or change your identity and move to another country. |

I am so sorry you are having this problem!
The best thing, as many have said, is to make arrangements with the collector and pay a little at a time. If you go and explain they will understand. The trick is to do it with as much freindliness and calm as you can.
Good luck |

Don't laugh I have used a couple of these and well lets say they kind of slowed down in the call times
Make a friendship with the collection agent
Tell them he don't live here any longer I kicked the bum out he was draining me dry of cash too. What did the bum get you for.
Tell them that you have a new shipment of un cut coke coming in this weekend and you will give them a real good deal if they could ahhh???
Tell them you will as soon as you get new ink for your printer
Ask them where they live so you can steal their car and sell it to a chop shop and then you can claim insurance and I will give you your money |

That would cripple me and my first action would be to ask the Electrician if you can drip feed him the money.
My next step would be to see if I could get a loan from my bank. |

Well some people have money and can do it. I don't know any of them personally, but I heard of rumors and stories of some of them.
Suggest you call them up and work out a payment plan that you can afford. If the person you speak to is not helpful, ask to speak to their boss. Good luck. |

We would have to put it on a credit card. Didn't you get an estimate and talk about payment before the electricians did the work?
Try to work out some sort of payment plan with them. Giving them cash right now makes them happier and more likely to divide the payments up for you. It is always best to talk to people about it rather than just not pay it, and the bottom line is they want to get paid. So they might work with you. If they don't...well, if you don't have the money, there isn't much they can do. Continue to make payments to them and they probably won't sue you. |

Actually , why are they blaming the bill collectors. I find the best practice is to spend what only you can afford to pay when the bill comes. Or if your less wise you can use a credit card and stack up the finance charges over a period of a few months.
here e good rule to live by don't spend what you don't have. |

They expect that blonde women that post their pics on the Internet have desperate Internet guy friends that will pay the bill for them. |
