If you seen a murder by a relative take place would you turn them in to the authorities?

For me I'm not really close to my family. It would also depend on the reason for the murder but at first thought I'd say that I would. This does not include matters of self defense either.

Of course I would. My dad was a deputy sheriff. But all that aside, I wouldn't want that on my conscience, & I wouldn't want that relative out in public. If they did it once---who knows what they would do next? And of course I wouldn't want to be arrested for being an accomplice for not revealing the truth.

I believe you have to tell or else you would be charged also with murder. I wouldn't want to snitch so I would do my best to convince my family member to turn them self in.

I have a nephew that is in jail right now for seeing a murder. I would not want to go through any of that. Tell the cops. Protect yourself.

I couldn't live with myself if I didn't tell, no matter what the killing was for.

For sure, killing anybody for what so ever reason is not good- even for so called self defence.
