The rodeo near my house has changed some of their events to reduce charges of animal cruelty. I think that is a good thing. I have seen some rodeo events out West that I did consider cruel. There are alot of good events (penning for example) that require alot of skill, and ar efun to watch, but not cruel. |

Id say you are right and thats why the bulls end up trying to kill the poor sole that is gutsy enough to try to ride him while causing the bull pain in his groin to buck. And if I was a horse and some dude was slamming sharp spurs in my chest Id try to get him off my back too. Even though , Id have to say out of all the rodeos the real men are the clowns ! Oh yea , I forgot to say, Its also just another way man has got to prove he is the more powerful- but really how much of a sport can it be when you pen the animal up and force it to play the game. |
