I would give ALL but 40,000.00 to people who needed it.
Not just charities (what a racket that is)...
BUt I would use the 40K and drive around the country for one year and give all teh money to people I met on the street who looked like they could use the money.
People going through the day to day things to just get by in life but are barely making it. These people would get 1 thing (Not a new house) but maybe a new car or debits cleared out... however, they need to do 3 things:
1. Swing a hammer at Habitat for Humanity. (just one weekend day)
2. Serve 1 meal at a local shelter
3. With the extra $1,000.00 I give them they have to find someone else to give to who would need it.
If they do all three - then the money is thiers for the taking! |

First I would buy a very large piece of land, and fix it up for all the homeless and mistreated animals. Then I would donate a lot to charity, if there was some left over, I would probably buy shoes...and stuff for my house and garden. |

I'd invest part of it in retirement ($200k), hire a good financial advisor, and find some good stocks to invest in. I would want at least $5 mil to live life out on. Of course i'd also donate to charities & stuff that would help others. Oh, and i'd get a video ipod. |

I would have to say that I would buy a classic car a rice burner and a lifted rock crawling jeep and of course a house. The rest of the money i would put in the bank and then I would live off of the interest. |
