"Great ideas" for inventions are a dime a dozen. If you patent your idea, the patent will prolly cost more than you'll every make from your invention. |

Start searching the web on how many other people have already tried to make money with the same idea and failed because there is no feasable way to produce the good or service. |

Ask your school for the money, ur parents, ur family, ask for donations, or ask anyone if they would like to invest in your "Idea" so you can get a patent thats half the problem..
good luck |

first step is getting the patent in your name, there are a few websites that supposedly do this, but I'm not sure the safest way to go about it.
second step is to talk to people with money that could invest in mass production and sale of your invention. If that seems too daunting then set up meetings with companies that sell or produce a product in the same category as your invention and see if they would like to buy it. Before you finalize anything make sure you have a patent attorney at your side. |

Hold on to it.
Anyplace that offers to listen to your idea and maybe do something with it is a BIG chance to take so unless you have a whole bag of ideas I would hang onto that one. |

protect your interests and rights have your invention patented!
"A patent is an exclusive right granted for an invention, it provides protection for the invention to the owner of the patent. The protection is granted for a limited period, generally 20 years."
find a way .... talk to your parents, they will know. |

Be careful. Don't share the idea with just anyone. Do your research. Fazny Zavahir |

Do a full business report on your invention, manufacturing costs, break down off compnents how much every process would cost what you need to manufacture, you also need to research a market etc etc. you also need to check to make sure that noone else has patent rights already in existance for the idea. Once you establish there are no patent rights you go from there in establishing the patent rights this is quite lengthy and can cost a lot but can pay off highly dependant on your idea and the need for it. Being anonimous in a new idea/invention is a great thing as so many ideas have led to deaths off 10000s off people over the years. Money can do evil things to people. |
