They've done neurological studies of men who identify as straight where they were documented as becoming aroused at the sight of erect penises. I think it's a Pavlovian association thing. Whenever you're aroused, you see or feel an erect penis. Thus, when you see an erect penis, even if it's not your own, you get aroused.
Incidentally, the concepts of gay and straight have only existed for the last two hundred years or so. Even as late as Shakespeare's time the concept of someone who only had sex with men, or only had sex with women, would have been inconceivable.
It may be that you are attracted to men as well as women. You certainly wouldn't be the first. Or it may be arousal by association. Either way, it's not really something to get bent out of shape over unless you make it one. |

It's not weird for even a straight person to be a little turned on by the same sex. It might mean you are gay or bisexual, or that you are just straight and 'normal' with a little bit of that reaction. Everyone has a little gay in him/her; it is perfectly human and doesn't necessarily make you any less straight. Be honest with yourself about what you like and you will be healthier for it. |
