Paper runs, especially Sunday ones, you can make £150 for one days work.
I used to do one and got about £70 every Sunday for it, it also looks good on your CV for when you go to get a proper job.
So give it some thought.
Just go into your local newsagents and say to him you are interested in starting a Sunday paper run, and if you get the all clear just go round doors asking people what papers they want. |

Most large companies won't hire you until you're sixteen, and there are several reasons for this: there's usually a clause in their insurance that says they can't, you're restricted by law in the hours that you can work, etc etc etc.
So, your best bet is to stay away from the large companies and try smaller places like independent cafes, newsagents, etc.
The other thing you can do is try asking around your parents' friends, neighbours, etc to see if anyone needs any help with chores, babysitting, dogsitting, etc. |

paper rounds maybe, delivering leaflets, cutting grass, babysitting , looking after young children whilst their mums get on with some jobs around the home. Dog walking! You have to show intuitive and think "what are people short off? what do people want?" then you never know what the answer will appear! |

yeah i got my first job when i was 15, i had a job as a waitress, but you can also get a job as a potwasher, doing a paper-round, or working as a shop assistant. Loads of people that i know have had jobs like these and the pay isnt too bad either
good luck :) |

I am 16 and I am finding it hard to get a job at the moment. Large supermarkets wont employ you until you leave school at 16 and other shops are reluctant to employ young people studying at school.
The best way you can make money is to either get a paper round, or do chores around the house or at your neighbours houses. |

well, legally ur not allowed to work until ur 16 but small businesses like a cafe or B&B might take u on.

Ask someone in your family if they can get you a part time job at their work.
*By the way, Paper-rounds are not a good idea, they pay very little and you wont have anywhere near enough money for a games console before christmas. |
