100% correct. Her politics has always been gimmickery and destructive. She raises questions but does not know the answers herself. That is why she has only 30 M.L.A.'s and only 1 M.P. today. Her current trend will further take her down. West Bengal has 63% Agricultural Land, 12% Forest Area, 24% Urban Land and 1% only barren land. If Agricultural Land is not taken, where in West Bengal will Industries be set up. Buddhadev Bhattacharya is a courageous leader who is taking bold steps to set the state in the right track despite destructive opposition from TMC, Jamait-e-Ulema-Hind and Fraction Fabricated Naxalites including Maoists and also from a portion of the left front. For the sake of my state I will stand by him and not Mamata Banerjee. |

She is used to gimmicks. Starting from dancing on the bonnet of Jaiprakash Narayan's car to trying to commit suicide with a black shawl standing under the open sky. But she has a good following because of her fighting spirit. |

Yes, as said in my previous postings, I do not like to repeat. I like to bring some other things here :
Why the yahoo is giving so much importance to such gimmicks ?
Why a section of so called intelligentsia is backing such gimmicks which may not bring lasting prosperity in India ?
Why innocent people are instigated with sheer mis-information and sentiment to take law in their hands instead of having dialogue, negotiations and reasonable bargaining with State Machinery ?
Why an example or two of unfortunate happenings hamper the prosperity path of whole of the country?
Why experts are not drawn in the process to answer critical questions relating to development of the country ... instead why only emotions should play such role ?
Why time tested success stories of the developed nations are not being discussed instead of century old farming practises ?
Why mis-information, mis-trust, mis-rule, un-law fullness rule the country only for getting political mileage for handful of people who wants to grab the power / chair ?
What are the national / international enemies and agents playing with behind the background ?

Yes.Mamata Banerjee is trying to create a turmoil in politics so that she can have a foot hold in politics.This crazy lady is instigating the poor simple villagers----in the path of bloodshed,arson,aggression.,violence,Ban... Roko. violence in Bidhan Sabha,Decrying the Media,Denying to sit for the peaceful negociation etc. This actions will not help the people of that region.She is unstable minded,she is not trying to solve any problem amicably. |

Whether gimmick or not..that is not important. But she is the Only politician/Leader who has got a sentiment/feelings for the common people and who is honest & can sacrifice & bear tortures for the people of Bengal. As the corruption/cleverness/understanding for enjoying power is the commong thing for the leader/politicians and we are used to see this ..it seems that what she is doing is "gimmick". Even a simple leader of a Nationalised Party enjoying power/money with the understanding of ruling party here in bengal. But being the supremo/chief of TMC she is not. Some political parties are saying about the "principle" of TMC leader as she is aligning sometime to congress & sometime BJP here. But it is very clear for TMC & Mamata Jee that "CPM Hotao" is the main principle of her/party. for it she has got no other choice. She is great What we the common people feel but cannot express rather dont have braveness(himmat) to do that she does it. My Salute to her. In my life I never found a single leader in India who can sacrifice a post/ministry/organisation in protest of the torture/brostachar of any party etc... She is Just Great splly for W.Bengal there is no alternative. Rest all are Slaves. |

Politics and gimmicks go hand in hand. From dramatic attempts at suicide with a shawl, to standing in the rain protesting, to going on hunger strikes, Mamata Banerjee fully engages in gimmicks to get publicity and to get her message across to the public. And they worked. We all know who she is, and what she believes in. Pretty much all successful politicians are masters of cheap theatrics in their efforts to pull off publicity stunts. |
