Depends on where you live. If is is LA, DC or NYC, no, that is low and will be tough to survive on. If you live in smaller ares, then yes, that should be a good start. |

in this case for office admin, I'd say it's pretty good.
But for example to do engineering work or software development, that's not so good considering the amount of headache it takes to learn and apply all that stuff. |

It depends on your exact job description and the area you live in. For instance, in southern california(LA) cost of living is so high that that isn't anywhere near enough to get a house/decent car.
But, in a more rural area(pick anywhere in Utah) That's an excellent salary. |

Yes that is really good for an administrative position. But benefits are very important as well...like medical insurance, 401K, vacations etc. |

It depends where you are, and what that title actually means. If "Office Administration" refers to ordering office supplies and answering phones, that is a GREAT salary anywhere in the U.S! Regardless of your degree, that is more than most people can expect for an entry level position. That is the harsh reality of it. |

kinda, u really should be making 70 grand a year to have an ok life, but my mom makes 35 grand, has two kids, both of us are 14, and we have made all 14 years of our lives on that salary... even before i was less, so if it is only u, it really isn't that bad |

Depends on your life style. For most though that's AMAAAAAZING, and wish to make that much a year. So yes 50,000 a year is a veryyy good salary. :] |

depends on the market, your level of experience etc.
Given that you are asking the question I take it this is a first time job. Given that I'd say that is an excellent salary. Most starting jobs even in NYC in administration typically get $40K - $45K starting. But i work in a different field.
